TOPS stands for Three Opportunities to Praise Students. Each time a student takes an A.R. Quiz, a TOPS report is printed. When a student receives a TOPS report, we praise and encourage their reading in the library, their teacher praises and encourages their reading in their classroom, and then the report goes home to Mom and Dad. We can all track how the child is progressing with the information provided on the report, including whether they are meeting their reading goals. With so much encouragement, and direction, every student becomes their own reading success story!
